As a DevOps Engineer on the CICDOS team, you are responsible for advising on, implementing, managing, and implementing our platform infrastructure and Stater’s CI/CD pipeline. As a member of the team, you develop and manage business-critical resources and systems that are used by Stater.
You are responsible for the full management and third-line support of our Windows Server environment, IT infrastructure, and our server applications. In this respect, you play a critical role in ensuring business continuity. Besides generic management tasks, you, as a DevOps Engineer, specialise in a sub-area of the business-critical resources you manage.
The challenge lies in the large and complex IT environment with a diverse range of server applications that you and your team (5 FTEs) are working on. We are talking 2,500+ servers in an OTAP environment, automation of our work, and maintaining and improving our CI/CD pipeline. We are also working on a transition towards the Cloud. This includes the Azure solution.
The job of DevOps Engineer at Stater is challenging and varied. Besides dealing with incidents and change requests, you will be part of an Agile/Scrum team that works on migrations and implementation requests, and you will be expected to join the thought process on roadmap development. Additionally, you see to it that there is a perfect fit between (internal) customer demands and existing or new systems. While you have a good ability to work independently, you are also a real team player who enjoys achieving results together with others. You know Microsoft Server platforms like the back of your hand and you are highly competent when it comes to using Powershell. You have good communication skills and are open to giving and receiving feedback. Proactively joining the thought process on how to improve Stater’s infrastructure and architecture is what you see as your challenge and where you use your freedom to take initiative.
