Senior Data Lake Engineer

The Position
Within our IT Datalake Team we are working on a Financial Accounting solution for our customers. Our scrum team is looking for a Senior Datalake Engineer with Informatica Big Data Management (BDM/Informatica DEI) experience in combination with Hadoop. You are part of the scrum team that implements an ETL solution for reporting financial accounting information. As a Big Data specialist, you contribute Informatica BDM (DEI) and ETL knowledge and experience to a team of experts, closely aligning with business and IT stakeholders.

You are a Big Data Management/DEI specialist with good analytical and technical skills, and you want a job where you can continue to develop your qualities. By nature, you are solution-oriented, proactive, communicatively strong and a team player. You enjoy delivering quality and working accurately but are flexible enough to deliver high-level results when necessary. You take responsibility for your own work and are happy to contribute to the team goals.
Our ideal candidate has:

• A Bachelor or master’s degree in computer science or related;
• 7 years of experience as a data warehouse specialist or BI developer;
• Several years of experience with the Informatica Big Data Management (BDM)/ Informatica DEI) module;
• Extensive experience with Hadoop and SSIS and;
• 1 year of experience with Big Data technologies such as Hive, Spark, HDFS.

Nice to have is:

• Devops experience with XML, SQL, Unix scripting and CI/CD;
• Work experience in an Agile/Scrum team;
• knowledge of Finance and/or Risk of Accounting.
